The Ship Crew of the Waveraper was brought about in the winter of 1992, when a small, select group of hardcore fighters got together and decided that there were too many aspects of their hobby/sport that were getting mired down in rules, paperwork, and particularly politics (the curse of any organization).

The Captain of the Ship Crew is a man known as Daegar Fairhair. It was his idea to gather together these few good men into a tight knit group of people who shared the same belief that they were all in this thing to just have fun. The premise still holds true to this day that they are gathered together to fight, drink, and have a good time free of any bullshit that seems to accumulate in larger organizations. Our motto: " Fight all day, Drink all night, and Fuck till dawn." pretty much sums it up. We're here to have a good time, not fill out forms.
